Fundraising doesn’t have to be boring: There are loads of ways to do it!

  • Organise a group bake sale, a BBQ or even a culinary extravaganza of food from around the world. This is a great opportunity to try out all your friends’ favourite dishes! As well as proceeds from sales, you can even turn it into an event and donate entry fees.

  • Host an auction with items donated by local businesses, artists, or community members… You could do it in person or online!

  • OK, this is definitely more of a summer idea, but you’d be amazed how satisfying it is watching cars drive away from you sparkly clean!

  • Got a bit of a following? Livestream your gaming on Twitch or your makeup tutorial on TikTok and ask people to donate

  • Who doesn’t love a good trivia night? Flex your knowledge AND raise money for a good cause! You could even have a mental health question category.

  • Got a skill you’d love to share? Offer a workshop or class, like yoga, cooking, or crafts, with participation fees donated.

  • Gather all the creatives and let’s put on a show where entry fees and profits are donated!

  • Create a puzzle or escape room experience, with teams donating to participate

  • Host a bingo night with prizes, with proceeds from card sales going to charity

  • Fancy a game? Board or video games - your call! Host a tournament featuring your favourite board or video games, with entry fees donated!

  • Sign up for an event like a 5k, 10K, a half marathon, or even a FULL marathon if that’s your thing!

  • Commit to running a certain distance every day for a month!

  • Organise a fun run! Spice up your running and get others involved with costume themes, colour runs, or obstacle courses

  • Commit to a lap swimming challenge, open water swim, or host a fun pool event

  • Join or create a canoeing, kayaking, or rowing event, you can race or just go at your own pace!

  • Organise a bike ride, ranging from leisurely community rides to more challenging long-distance cycling events

  • Wanna elevate your fundraise? Scale a rock wall, climb a mountain, or even go up all the stairs in a tall building!

  • Organise a tournament for good! Create a fundraising event around sports like football, volleyball, basketball, or tennis - whatever you love!

  • There are loads of places that set records for most pizza eaten or arcade games - try to break one of your local records!
